About Red Haven

Red Haven is a bespoke gardencare service, harmonising with nature to realise the seasonal potential of your garden. Your garden is a sanctuary, our gardeners are chosen for their ability to nurture and care for the space, to maintain the aesthetic and vision of your garden, and attend to the diverse needs of the specimens in your collection. Naturally they also respect the sanctity of a place that is an extension of your home. 

We work a deliberately limited list of gardens in Tāmaki Makaurau, concentrated through Remuera, Ōrākei, Westmere and Mt Eden.

This isn't only about exclusivity. Gardens close together can be visited often, and a gardener who visits often learns the garden. That accumulated knowledge; which bed dries out, which plant sulks, how the microclimate and soil impact the plants, is what you're actually paying for. Expertise and commitment to making a garden its best.

The Red Haven Experience

We tend to work in gardens we like, which means we sometimes say no. It also means the gardens we do take on get looked after by people who actually want to be there. Our people are careful with your gate, your dog, the plant your Nana grew from a cutting and gave to you. They are happy to talk about the garden at length if you want to, and content to work quietly if you don't.
